　９日、チェチェン共和国の首都グロズヌイで、親ロシア派の大統領、アフマド・カディロフが、戦勝記念式典の最中に爆殺されました。これは、「チェチェン独立派の犯行」だとされています。

　真相はわかりませんが、ロシア政府がこの事件をきっかけに、チェチェン人に対する「テロ」をさらに激化させることは、十分に予測できます。「武装勢力の掃討」と称して、彼らは何をしようとしているのでしょうか。これ以上の「国家による犯罪」を止めるために、ロシア政府に対して、いかなる理由においても、不当な人権侵害や殺人は許されない、という声を、今あらためて上げることが必要です。

　ロシア大使館の住所、Tel,Fax番号、メールアドレスを次に貼りつけます。どうか、「カディロフ大統領暗殺をきっかけに、チェチェン人に対する人権侵害や攻撃を拡大することを許さない」というあなたの声を届けてください。

Dear President Vradimir Putin/

I protest strongly against the massive attack on and the killing of Chechens by the Russian army under your direction.

The Russian army has continuously made attack on Chechnya in order to "anti-terrorism operation". Because of the raids, many civilians have been killed and injured. This is a clear crime against humanity.

The Russian army is currently destroying houses in Chechnya in a massive scale and shut out any International ovsaver. This is a collective punishment prohibited by the Geneva Convention. Many European leaders and Russian politicians described the current situation in Chechnya as "a humanitarian catastrophe".

I urge you to stop attacking Chechens, and respect international law.

The Russian army must immediately withdraw from occupied Chechen territory.
